I am a Durban-based creator, whose work reflects a life shaped by language, technology, and human connection.
A former English teacher with over 15 years in South African secondary schools, I have built a successful career in software development. My interest in art has became an increasingly important to me, a deeply personal form of expression, especially following my recovery from a stroke.
Art
My art work blends realism and abstraction, capturing the nuance of emotion, the stories etched in faces, Our brains have a great deal of processing power dedicated to the interpretation of facial expression and body language. This fascinates me and drives me every time I express myself artistically. In all humility I am offering original images for your enjoyment and appreciation.
Writing
