In my library I have original art and writing in the form of poetry, anecdotes and excerpts from novels, film scripts and miscellaneous  musing. Some of the writing is not complete yet  and I hope you follow as it develops.

Disclaimer regarding Artificial Intelligence

I use AI, particularly ChatGPT when it is relevant. I never use AI for creative writing. All the creative writing has been generated in my brain. I use AI to research any factual area.  I also use AI graphic generation for illustration as I find it an incredible resource and creatively stimulating . 

The original art work in my gallery is produced from my own brain and I work in most of the mediums, usually graphite for drawings and oil paint on canvas.  In other words there is always a physical starting point in a physical medium for every art work. But the image has to join the digital realm when it is photographed and I use minimal editing thereafter.

My influences

I have 75 years of life experiences to influence my productions so there are multiple fields and activities to reflect on.

 A former English teacher with over 15 years in South African secondary schools, I have also built a successful career in software development. My interest in art  has became an increasingly important activity to me, a deeply personal form of expression, especially following my recovery from a stroke.

Art

My art work blends realism and abstraction, capturing the nuance of emotion, the stories etched in faces, Our brains have a great deal of processing power dedicated to the interpretation of facial expression and body language.   In all humility I am offering original images for your enjoyment and appreciation.

Writing

My writing has always been a natural extension of my personal vision and experience. I have written many pieces, ranging from from one-act plays, to radio plays, to film scripts and novels. I use this website to publish some of the diverse works.

My work as a business consultant and business software development has also been fascinating and rewarding. I have over 40 years of experience in diverse businesses and situations.
